Produced from quality two-row spring barley heirloom variety Barke.
Slightly darker than pilsner malt and with some aromatic malt notes. Malty flavour with some sweet bread and honey notes.
Use at up to 100 % of grain bill, or at lower percentages to add complexity and malt character.
Vienna malt is slowly dried and has retained most of its enzymatic power, although at a slightly lower level than lighter base malts.
Flavor: intense maltysweet, gentle notes of honey and nuts (almond and hazelnut).
