Weyermann® Pale Ale Malt

Pale base malt with clean taste and a light maltiness. Good choice for most beer styles, and standard ingredient in British and American pale ales.

This pale ale malt is made from 2-row barley which is slowly dried at a low temperature. The slightly longer drying time produces a malt that is a shade darker than pilsnermalt and with a more pronounced character.

This malt is high in enzymatic power, low in protein and normally gives a reliable extract efficiency.
