Christmas Beer Recipe Kit
This year’s winter beer
recipe kit is a balanced "winter warmer" featuring fresh citrus flavors and soft, malty notes.
The kit includes pale ale malt, Munich malt, two types of caramel malt, and light chocolate malt; together, these create a subtle complexity with a touch of sweetness. Flavors of soft toffee and cocoa are balanced by citrusy notes and medium bitterness from the Citra hop variety. The malt body and bitterness balance each other out, making this beer an excellent choice to pair with Christmas food.
Christmas Beer Recipes
Here are some of our best Christmas beer recipes.
Spiced Christmas Beer
For many, Christmas beer is synonymous with a slightly darker brew featuring subtle notes of toffee and a mild taste of Christmas spices. This recipe delivers exactly that: an ale flavored with cinnamon, star anise, and nutmeg.
To prevent the candy sugar in the recipe from scorching on the bottom of the kettle during the wort boil, we recommend first dissolving it in a small amount of hot wort before stirring it into the main boil.

Christmas Porter Recipe
Our Christmas Porter is a dark, richly malty beer with notes of chocolate. The hops provide a balancing bitterness and an aroma leaning towards mandarin orange. And if that isn’t enough, you can enhance the festive spirit even further by adding Christmas spices—why not cinnamon and orange zest?

Winter Lager Recipe
A lager with subtle bready notes of honey and dried fruit, balanced by a mild, aromatic hop bitterness.
