Sinamar® is used darken the colour of beer (or other food products) without affecting the taste.
On the products ingredient list, Sinamar® can be reported as barley malt, malt extract or roasted malt extract.
Sinamar is produced by mashing Carafa® black malt in the Weyermann® brewery. The wort is then concentrated in a vacuum process, filtered and packaged at 70 - 75 °C.
Sinamar is gluten-free, causes no turbidity and remains pH stable.
Dosage:
Use 14 g (11.9 ml) of SINAMAR® Color Malt Extract to darken 1 hl of beer or wort by 1 EBC.
This can be added after brewing.
In addition to beer, Sinamar also suitable for coloring other products such baked goods, non-alcoholic drinks, spirits, pharmaceutical products and tea etc.
