Weyermann® Certified organic Caramunich®

Medium coloured caramel malt with a rounded sweetness and malty flavours. Some caramel flavour with notes of biscuit. Adds fullness, mouthfeel and foam stability.

Normal usage up to 15 % of grain bill. Gives beer a deeper colour with amber or copper hues.

During the malting process the kernels are rested at 65 °C until sugars are released, followed by a rise in temperature during which partial caramelization occurs.

This malt is certified organic.
