Article no.: 820800
Our large yeast cultivation starter kit includes everything you need to propagate yeast in several stages.
By making a starter, you ensure that you have enough yeast cells in a good condition. This is even more true with increasing batch sizes, when fermenting high OG worts and for lager beers.
A yeast starter is also recommended for revitalizing yeast which has passed its best before date or if the yeast pack has been stored in unfavorable conditions.
You can also experiment with propagating yeast from bottle dregs or wild yeast.
The package includes:
Magnetic Stirrer Apera 801 (incl. magnetic stir bars)
Erlenmeyer flask 3000 ml
Laboratory bottle 500 ml
Spraymalt 500 g
Yeast nutrient blend
