Spray Dried Malt Extract
Dried malt extract is also called spray malt after the manufacturing process. After mashing, the concentrated wort is sprayed and the spray mist is then dried into a powder. Munton’s dried malt extract is widely recognized as one of the world's best.Can be used for malt extract brewing, or for making yeast starters.
Dried malt extract is sensitive to moisture and should be stored air-tight, eg in a zipper bag.
