Tettnanger is an excellent aroma hop commonly used in European Lagers and Ales. Similary to Hallertau it has a very balanced, flowery and spicy character no matter if used as a bittering or aroma hop.

Tettnanger is one of the four "noble" hop varieties together with Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, Spalter and Saaz. Traditionally grown in the Tettnang district but is now-a-days most grown i Hallertau.
Aroma: Balanced, spicy, flowery and herbal.
Origin: Tyskland

Cohumulone: 22 - 28 %
Total oils: 0,4 - 1,0 ml / 100 g
Storage stability (alpha acids): Good, 61% alpha acids remaining after 6 months at 20 °C
