An Erlenmeyer Flask is the ideal vessel for yeast cultivation. The borosilicate-glass is of laboratory grade and thus heat resistant.
You can boil wort (or malt extract and water) in the the flask on a stovetop burner, cool it down in a cold water bath and then add the yeast.
Use with stopper and airlock or cover the opening with aluminum foil.
Height: 365 mm
Diameter: 220 mm
Neck: about 39 mm inside diameter
NOTE: Make sure that the flask and the surface it is placed on is at the same temperature. Otherwise the glass might shatter! Therefore, place the flask on the burner before turning the heat on.

Hur höga temperaturer tål er E-kolv 5 liter 5000ml
Jag måste kolla dimension på innersidan av kärlet. Är glaset i proffsklass för "alla kemiska tillämpningar? Eller behöver jag nåon specialglas för rätt höga temperaturer? Dimensionerna på innersidan är 44mm och jag behöver en ny gummiplugg också?
