Aerate your wort and reduce the risk of contamination with this stainless steel diffusion stone on a metal rod.
In order for the yeast to be able to properly multiply, it needs access to oxygen. With a diffusion stone, you create millions of small bubbles with an enourmous total contact surface that will allow the oxygen to dissolve in the wort very quickly. By having the stone mounted on a metal rod, you can sanitize everything that comes in contact with the wort by boiling it beforehand.
Can be mounted directly in a 3/16" push-in coupling
Pore size: 2 μm, suitable for air (0.5 μm is recommended for pure oxygen)
Metal rod: outer diameter 5 mm, length 40 cm
Diffusion stone: diameter 12 mm, length 25 mm
Note: Do not handle the stone with bare hands. Skin oils can clog the small pores.
