Low Colour Chocolate Malt imparts a delicate chocolate aroma and taste much like a mellow cold brew coffee. This malt type lacks the astringency of the more darkly roasted malts.
A lighter version of Chocolate Malt which gives notes of milk chocolate with lightly burnt tones.
Mostly used in porters and dark ales to provide a light to distinct flavour of chocolate depending on the amount used. Normally in the 5 - 15 % range.
Tasting Notes: Distinct roasted aromas Creamy coffee notes Intense smoothness and added body.
