Magnum is know as an excellent bittering hop that is very hardy and easy to grow. With it's mild aroma with hints of citrus together with the high content of alpha acids, Magnum imparts a very nice and clean bitterness.
Commonly used in German lagers and pilsner, Excellent for bittering in any beer style.
Magnum was developed during the '80s and is the daughter of Galena and an unknown German hop. It was registered and launched to the world in 1993 by the Hop Research Institute in Hüll, Germany.
Aroma: Clean bitterness and some citrus.

Storage stability (alpha acids): Excellent, 80-85% alpha acids remaining after 6 months at 20 °C
