Hallertauer Mittelfrüh is a delicate aroma hop traditionally used in German lagers. Has a classical and subtle flavor and aroma of flowers and spice.
Commonly used in German ale, lager and wheat, American lager.
Known as one of the four noble hops together with Spalt, Tettnanger and Saaz, Hallertauer Mittelfrüh is over a hundred years old. Up until a few decades ago it was the dominant hop grown in Hallertau , from where it also got it's name.
Aroma: Subtly flowery and spicy.
