Stainless steel weld-less thermowell. Suitable for mounting a thermometer or temperature sensor in a mash tun or kettle.
The silicone o-rings seal against the vessel wall.
Female 1/2" FPT threads for mounting a thermometer.
Suitable for temperature probes up to 54 mm long and 7 mm diameter.
Drill a 22 mm hole in the vessel wall. We recommend useing a step drill bit when drilling stainless steel. Teflon tape should be used for sealing the threads.
The thermowell can be used without flange and nut with tee 1/2" FPT or with a mounted Weld Coupling 1/2" FPT.

bra tätning gör sitt jobb

Det medföljer ingen monteringsinstruktion. Konstruktionen är inte genomtänkt, i och med att den bricka som medföljer inte tätas mot dykröret kommer det att läcka genom gängorna. Jag fick löda fast brickan i dykröret för att få det tätt, så borde det ha varit från början. Alternativet att sätta brickan på insidan, vid muttern, finns också men då är anläggningsytan mellan packningen och dykröret nära noll, så då läcker det i alla fall. Hade det medföljt 2 brickor hade konstruktionen kanske fungerat?

O-ringarna tätar dåligt pga konstruktionen. Yttre brickan borde varit svetsad till genomföringen/dykröret.
