TC fittings
This is a connection system that is very easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble.TC meet stringent hygiene requirements and are used in both breweries and the pharmaceutical industry.
TC stands for Tri-Clover or Tri-Clamp and is the popular name for the International Standard ISO 2852 for stainless steel food grade fittings.
Each connection consists of two TC fittings, one gasket and one clamp.
The parts can be combined in many ways.
The different sizes for TC (for example 1.5", 2" or 3") are measured as the maximum possible outer diameter a tube attached to the coupling could have. Since this is a quite theoretical measure, it is more common to measure the outer diameter of the flange for identification purposes.
