Package with couplings and tubing for oxygen-free transfer between two cornelius kegs. Also suitable for e.g. Mini Keg and fermentation tanks with ball-lock posts.
The package includes:
2 pcs Threaded ball lock disconnect - liquid
2 pcs John Guest 3/8" - 1/4" FFL
1 m Tubingflex 3/8" tubing
Easily assembled as shown in the picture.
To transfer between two kegs, proceed as follows:
1. Clean and sanitize the keg and transfer-kit
2. Pressurize and pull the PRV a few times on the empty keg (CO2 purge).
3. Pressurize both kegs to the same level.
4. Connect the transfer kit to the liquid posts on both kegs and connect CO2 to the full keg.
5. Release some of the excess pressure in the receiving keg in batches by gently pulling the PRV. If you have a spunding valve, connect it to the gas valve instead and set a slightly lower relief pressure.
