Infusion Spiral® is a patented product that is easy to use and which, thanks to the large contact surface, provides good wood profile in a short time. Infusion Spiral® has been developed by The Barrel Mill, a cooperage in Minnesota that specializes in making oak barrels for craft breweries, wineries and distilleries.
Use one to two spirals in 20-25 liters of beer or wine for up to 14 days. For a smaller volume it is easy to divide a spiral to reduce the dosage, or allow a shorter contact time.
Sugar Maple is the tree which maple syrup is extracted from. Can contribute nutty, caramelized notes and butterscotch.
