kan man tillsätta wyeast i efterhand?

Jäsningen verkar ha avstannat efter ett dygn, det bubblar inte i jäsröret längre. köpte en färdig diybeer konsentrat ipa.

Hej!

Det bästa sättet att avgöra om jäsning pågår är att ta ett hydrometerprov och mäta SG. Ibland kan det se ut som att jäsningen har stannat helt men i själva verket pågår jäsningen "i smyg", d.v.s. det går inte att se med blotta ögat.

Jag skulle inte rekommendera att tillsätta jästnäring, den är bäst att tillsätta under vörtkoket. Om jäsningen har stannat av helt är det i så fall bättre att tillsätta ett till paket jäst som kan starta upp jäsningen igen.
