Malbec
Malbec used to be popular mainly in Bordeaux, but it is now mostly used in Argentinan wines and has become its signature grape. Argentina’s success with malbec has inspired Chile to jump on the bandwagon. The grape grown in Chile is often more rich in tannin and is often mixed with cabernet sauvignon.
