Ekens Wine Kit gives you up to 30 bottles that are ready to bottle after 3-4 weeks. An affordable and easy-to-make wine kit from Ekens.
Ekens Zinfandel Wine Kit gives dark notes of blackberry, fig and dark cherry as well as aromas of ripe plums. Good as a food wine and perhaps especially with flavorful meat dishes and game.
Tips for the wine making process and storing:
The wine ferments in a few weeks but gains from oak ageing. We recommend adding French or American (or a mix of both) oak chips, about 3-5 grams per bottle. This adds a complementary barrel character. To get a fuller wine the volume of water added to the concentrate may be reduced. Store the wine in a dark and cool place.
The wine set contains:
5 liters of concentrate
Wine yeast
Jässtopp stabilizer (Potassium Sorbate E202 and Potassium Metabisulphite E224)
