Recipe kit in cooperation with the Swedish brewery Vreta Kloster Bryggeri, for ca 23 liters of rustique and refreshing Saison beer.

Le Monde de la Biére was created together with Swedish beer pod Ölvärlden (translates to the World of Beer, which in turn translates to Le Monde de la Bière). The beer is a traditional Belgian Saison where the yeast contributes with notes of fruit and spiciness, further enhanced by the American hops which brings notes of pine and citrus. A well attenuated beer with a dry mouthfeel, which makes the beer excellent for food pairing.

This beer has been awarded twice at the competition the European Beer star, with a gold medal in 2023 and a silver medal in 2024. If you wish to try your homebrewed version side by side with the original, it is possible to find it in the swedish Systembolaget.

Ingredients:
  • Malt (5,5 kg): Pilsner malt and Munich Malt 1 from Weyermann®, Biscuit malt from Dingemans
  • Hops: Magnum, Cascade, Amarillo
  • Yeast: Lallemand Farmhouse
Original Gravity: 1.053
Alcohol: 5,6 % vol
Colour: ca 10 °EBC
Bitterness: ca 30 IBU

For improved beer clarity, we recommend using finings in the wort boil. Protafloc attracts haze-forming particles and settles out during chilling, making it easier to separate it from the clear wort. This results in a beer with less haze.
