Dolcita™ (HBC 1019) is the latest in a line of experimental hop varieties launched by Yakima Chief/John I Haas development program HBC, Hop Breeding Company.
Cryo Hops® is a concentrated form of hops developed by Yakima Chief Hops, where much of the plant parts have been removed but oils and other flavors have been retained. Cryo Hops® can be used just like regular T90 pellets but are best suited for whirlpool or dry hopping. Compared to regular hop pellets, only 50% as much Cryo Hops® is needed to achieve the same taste results.
Aroma: Dolcita is a very powerful and complex variety where fruitiness really dominates. It gives the aroma and taste of citrus (ripe oranges), stone fruit (peach) and tropical fruits such as melon, coconut and banana.
