Ekuanot is the new name of the variety formerly known as Equinox. A pronounced aroma profile with citrus, tropical fruit, floral and herbal characteristics.
Common beer styles: American pale ale, IPA, wheat beer, saison and modern lager.
Was developed by the Hop Breeding Company and launched 2014. It has since become a common hop in many breweries. It was originally called Equinox but the name was changed to Equanot in 2017.
Aroma: Complex with aromas of citrus, lime, papaya, apple, green pepper and herbs.
Origin: USA

Alpha acid (correct alpha value is printed on the package): 13-17 %
Cohumulone: 31 - 38 %
Total oils: 2,5 - 4,0 ml / 100 g
