Article no.: 4547725YC

Cascade is one of the most popular American aroma hops. Known for its fresh and flowery aroma with distinct notes of citrus.

American Noble Hops™ pellets are the leafy parts of the hop cone that are removed during the production of Cryo hops, resulting in lower bitterness and oil content.

American Noble Hops™ are reminiscent of classic noble hops with high aroma and low bitterness. At the same time, they retain their unique American character, providing a pleasant taste experience with exciting aromas.

Used in: Lager, Saison, Kölsch

Cascade was introduced 1972 as a cross between the English hop Fuggles and a Russian variety called Serebrianca. During the very first craft-beer movement on the US west coast, Cascade played a major part, rising quickly in popularity. Up until 2018 it was the most commonly grown hop in the USA but has since been overtaken by Citra.

Aroma: Floral, citrus, grapefruit.

Origin: USA

Typical values:
Alpha acid (correct alpha value is printed on the package): 3-5 %
