Superdelic™ (Trial Hop • NZH-102) is another new aroma hop variety from New Zealand's Plant & Food Research. It was crossed in 2012 and in 2017 they started full-scale test cultivations and when it proved to be promising both in terms of yield, taste/aroma and resistance to the disease, they are now in full swing with scaling up to commercial cultivations.
Has proven to work very well in early dry hopping, where it contributes many exciting fruit/berry flavors via biotransformation.
Superdelic™ will fit perfectly in all modern beer styles in which you want a clear fruitiness, e.g. APA / IPA, modern lager and saison.
