Riwaka

Riwaka smells strongly of passion fruit and citrus with elements of coniferous forest. Riwaka is the archetype for how New Zeeland Hop Character is defined.

For some years, Riwaka hops were not available to the European market.
The reason is that the hop variety yields small harvests and that is susceptible to diseases.

The most similar hop variety is Waimea. If that is unavailable, you can try a mix of Saaz, Chinook and Simcoe.
