Harlequin has a strong tropical aroma with notes of passion fruit, peach and pineapple. Works excellent as a flavor hop but also for bittering because of the smooth bitterness it imparts.
Modern beerstyles such as Pale Ale, Modern Lager, IPA and DIPA where distinct fruityness is desired.
Harlequin is grown from the Charles Faram Hop Development Programme and is a daughter of Godiva. The hop is developed as an dual purpose hop with good resistant to disease.
