Fuggles is a classic hop from the Brittish Isles. Commonly used as an aroma hop with its earthy and flowery character.

Commonly used in english ale, porter, mild ale, bitter, ESB, lambic, amber ale, cask ale, stout, strong ale, brown ale, golden ale.

Fuggle was first discovered and categorised in England 1861. For a long period it was used as a dual purpose hop but with the introduction of modern high-alpha strains it's become more common as a flavor or aroma hop today. Also grown in Slovenia under the name Styrian Golding.

Aroma: Mint, grass, flowery and earthy.

Origin: England

Typical values:
Alpha acid (correct alpha value is printed on the package): 4 - 7 %
Cohumulone: 25 - 30 %
Total oils: 0,7 - 1,1 ml / 100 g
Storage stability (alpha acids): Very good, 78% alpha acids remaining after 6 months at 20 °C
Possible replacements: Progress, Sovereign, Styrian Golding, Willamette
