Sturdy two-roller malt mill, complete with funnel, base plate and collection box.

MattMill Klassik is a German-made rolling mill of the highest quality and durability.

The two rollers (171 x 35 mm) are plasma hardened and have maintenance-free bearings. Thanks to the fact that the rollers have friction rings between them, they both roll synchronously. This means that the crusher easily gets a grip on the malt grains and a very even crush quality.

The roller distance is freely adjustable between 0 and 2 mm and can be driven both with the available hand crank accessory or a screwdriver with a 6 mm hexagon bit.

The included funnel has a volume of about 5 l and is easy to mount.

The rollers is housed in a heavy metal chassis and the base plate is also made of metal. The collection vessel is of food quality and can also be used to store the grinder and funnel after use.

The grinding capacity is approx. 4 kg / min for motor operation and 1-2 kg / min by hand.

Hej, om man ska ha malten malen till 1,2 mm måste man mala två gånger med denna kvarn? Har läst i olika forum att man gör så, har man däremot en kvarn med tre valsar räcker det med en gång.

Hej

Det har funnits många diskussioner om 2 kontra 3 valsar och deras för- och nackdelar. Den största vinsten men kvarnar med 3 valsar är att man kan krossa i lite högre hastighet samtidigt som de är svårare att hantera och ställa in. Som hembryggare brukar man föredra enklare hantering framför att spara några sekunder på krosstiden

Vår erfarenhet av MattMills kvarnar är att de maler med ett väldigt bra resultat med bara en krossning

Hej!

Nej, jag skulle inte tro att det går. Valsarna är nog för grova för det. Däremot kan du få väldigt finkrossat genom att krossa flera gånger och minska avståndet.
