SmartRef Digital Refractometer can determine original and final gravity with automatic wort and alcohol correction. With a small sample volume of only 0.4 mL, the SmartRef delivers accurate results with automatic temperature compensation (ATC).
SmartRef can be used for determining the extract content of wort, the alcohol content of wine, the sugar content in fruit juices, the sugar or water content in honey, the total dissolved solids in coffee, the alcohol content in spirits (containing no added sugar), salinity in salt water aquariums and many more applications. If used with the EasyDens density meter, it is also possible to measure the alcohol content of liqueur and sugar-containing spirits.
Connected via Bluetooth with the Brew Meister smartphone app for iOS and Android, the SmartRef determines the extract content of your wort in seconds and allows you to follow the fermentation process of your beer. app allows easy data storage, management, visualization, and export. Brew Meister takes care of all the necessary calculations for you. The results are already compensated for temperature, wort and alcohol - so you can focus on brewing beer without the hassle of the additional calculation steps.
