BlowTie 2 Spunding Valve

Adjustable pressure relief valve with pressure gauge and 8 mm push-in connections. Set the relief pressure by turning the yellow knob.

The pressure gauge is graded 0 - 1,0 bar (0 - 15 psi).
Only use with pressure rated fermenters, and never exceed the pressure range of the gauge.

Fits 5/16" OD tubing.

Applications:

• Carbonate the beer naturally by fermenting in the keg. Adjust the valve to the desired pressure based on how much CO₂ you want in your beer.
• Release the excess pressure in the receiving keg during transfering or filtering between two kegs.
• For pressurized fermentations. By experimenting with different factors (temperature, pressure, yeast strain, etc) a specific flavour profile can be accomplished.
