Self-closing shut-off valve for filling beer kegs.
The valve features an adjustable pressure relief valve that slowly vents excess gas from the receiving keg, thereby limiting the fill rate and minimizing foam formation. The small float rises with the beer level when the keg is full, automatically stopping the flow. This prevents overfilling and beer spillage, reducing the need for constant monitoring and freeing up time for other tasks.
To minimize foaming in the receiving keg, the beer should be chilled and not over-carbonated.
