A filter housing for wine and other beverages.
Designed for use with washable and reusable filter cartridges (sold separately) of various filtering grade.
The filter housing is constructed to be used together with Enolmatic Filling Machine, that pulls the liquid thru the filter and to the bottle using vacuum. Vacuum filling reassures good quality of the liquid and keeps oxidation to a minimum.
The filter cartridge threads into the lid of the filter housing, and a valve on the housing controls the speed thru the filter.
Diameter of the connection on the filter housing: 11,5 mm
Made from food grade plastic.

Seriekoppla två filterhus?
Kan man seriekoppla två filterhus, med exempelvis 5 mikron i den första och 1 mikron i den andra. För att effektivisera.

Absolut funkar det. Den enda begränsningen är hur mycket motstånd din valda pump orkar med

Kan Tandem filterhus använas till öl?
Undrar också om man filtrerar bort jäst så att flaskjäsningen (och därmed kolsyran) blir sämre?

Ja det går att använda till öl men det kan skumma en del om du har kolsyra i ölet efter jäsningen. Om du filtrerar med filter på 1 mikron och under så kommer du i princip få bort alla jästpartiklar och du kommer inte kunna kolsyrejäsa på flaska. Du kan då antingen använda ett grövre filter eller tillsätta ny jäst efter filtreringen så som Fermentis F2 eller Lallemand CBC-1
