Upgrade your DigiBoil with this stainless mash basket.
This kit is the same that comes with the BrewZilla 35 and makes it easy to mash and sparge in your DigiBoil.
The malt basket is placed on top of the included false bottom with feet to avoid the malt closest to the heating element in the bottom gets burnt. To get the best results and an even temperature, it is recommended that you only use the weaker heating element of the Digiboil during mashing.
After the mashing is complete, you sparge by lifting, rotating and placing the malt basket on the stand mounted on the inside of the top of the pot.
The false bottom with feet can also continue to be needed during cooking to prevent particles from burning into the bottom.

Kunde vara rätt mycket längre, det är väldigt mycket dött utrymme under maltpipan, så man kan inte använda den för små satser. Har även haft en del problem med att humle (runt 60g) täpper till falskbottnen som följer med så att det bildas en gasbubbla nere vid värmeelementet som ev. skulle kunna skada det.
Jag har ändå lyckats göra 4 lyckade satser öl med den, och det är väldigt smidigt att ha maltpipan i metall när man ska lyfta ut malten, så jag får väl testa att använda en biab-påse innuti maltpipan samt påsar för humlen under koket

Jättebra uppgradering till Digiboil! Även bättre passform än originalet till Brewzilla 35.

Hej funkar denna, jag brygger mest 10 liter satser. Tänker på dödutrymmet som blir under mäskkorgen.

Det är svårt att ge ett exakt svar då batchstorleken beror på flera variabler (maltmängd, humlemängd, koktid, mm), men mindre batcher än 5 liter kan riskera att orsaka att vörten bränner fast i botten. En för liten batchstorlek kan också göra att det är svårt att kyla ned vörten med t. ex. kylspiral.
Batcher kring 10 - 12 liter bör gå bra.

Passar den i en Brewferm Brewer 30 L?

Vi säljer inte Brewferm Brewer 30, men enligt vad jag kunnat se så är det här kitet något smalare och högre än Brewferms kokkärl. Inte helt optimalt för det ändamålet, med andra ord.
