Description

Article no.: 878049

Solenoid valve that gives your #Braumeister the new function of being able to control the flow of coolant through the jacket.

By connecting to the control unit, you get access to automatic cooling after the boil and temperature controled fermentation in the Braumeister.

When using the magnetic valve to cool after the boil, pre-connect the cooling water to the valve and connect a second hose from the jacket into the drain. At the start of the boil, you can set the unit to automatically cool down to the desired temperature after the boil is complete. When the set temperature is reached, the cooling water is switched off automatically. This further simplifies your brewing and you can safely leave your unit while it cools the wort.

If you want to ferment in your Braumeister, you can use the magnetic valve to control the flow of coolant from, for example, a glycol chiller. As long as the chiller maintains a lower temperature than you want to ferment, the valve can regulate the flow to reach the desired temperature. Note that you need a pump or similar to be able to circulate the coolant through the jacket as the valve can only control the flow.

Connects to the control unit with a 2 meter cable.

The valve is directly mounted on the cooling jacket connectorand has the same male Gardena coupling.
